'Code à barres' lamp

Code à Barres table lamp in polished aluminium and wood by Yonel Lebovici, 1990. The lamp is composed of two square polished alumium blades. They are punched and reveal a pattern with thin vertical lines forming a bar code and the numbers ‘‘3 165902 176356’’. The light is transmitted through the sides and the perforations. The whole is maintained by a rectangular blackened wood base. Engraved «Lebovici Y. E.A.» signature on the base. Limited edition of 10 + 2 Artist proofs. This piece will be referenced in the future Lebovici committee database.
