Gilbert Poillerat (1902-1988)
Oval wrought iron, golden bronze and lacquered wood gueridon by Gilbert Poillerat, circa 1948. It stands on two curved wrought iron mounts forming a lyre and ending by curls, and linked by a golden bronze sphere. The oval top is in havana lacquered wood. The whole stands on an oval base underlined by a golden bronze rod and flat pads. A certificate of authenticity issued by Didier Poillerat, son of Gilbert Poillerat, will be provided to the acquirer.
