Gilt brass lamp, "Casquette" shaped based on a rectangular base.
This shape was very appreciated by Jacques Quinet who created several versions of this model.
The important "Casquette" which is also the reflector contrasts with the narrowness of the base and offers a game of equilibrium.
This lamp comes from a special order, circa 1960-61 for a Company located in the South of France.
All the furniture pieces were in mahogany and fawn leather, this lamp which were display on the desks higlighted these shades of browns.

Height 31 cm (12 1/4 in) - Width 12 cm (43/4 in) - Depth 25 cm (10 in)

Provenance :
- Special order for a financial society, Marseille (South of France), 1960-61.
- Then by descent.
