Pair of "Scultura" coffee table

Pair of Scultura coffee tables in polished and varnished brass by Gabriella Crespi,1970. They are part of the Plurimi series, with dynamic and sculptural forms, launched in 1970. The rectangular wooden structure is articulated by two monolithic surfaces, veneered with polished and varnished brass. The upper part, as if it was in suspension, slides and reveals the lower part. One of the two tables presents an invisible drawer in its lower part. The two tables have the Gabriella Crespi’s mark forming a triangle screwed on lower edges, signed «Gabriella Crespi ® » on one table and «Gabriella Crespi BREV ® » on the other. Their authenticity has been confirmed by Elisabetta Crespi, artist’s daughter.
