Gilbert Poillerat (1902-1988)
Important and rare patinated and gilded wrought iron lantern by Gil- bert Poillerat, circa 1948. The circular body of the lantern is in patinated and gilded wrought iron, and is composed by four original curved glass windows. It contains in its center six cone-shaped lights in gilded wrought iron, linked to each other by a central sphere, ending with an arrow, in gilded wrought iron. The whole is held by a pati- nated wrought iron rod, decorated with a corolla, a sphere and a cover, in gilded wrought iron. Initials ‘EM’ of the first owner on the rod.
