"Oiseau d'argent" table

Brushed aluminium. Signed ‘FXL’, ‘Lalanne’ and ‘Artcurial’ stamped on the tail. Artcurial edition (Sold out edition). From the 80’s François-Xavier Lalanne created for the Artcurial editions a number of pieces. The archives reveal that less than 20 pieces of this large «Oiseau d’argent» table has been produced. The last one has been made in 2006. This modular table is characteristic of the François-Xavier Lalanne’s style who particularly loved furniture with system while staging a poectic bestiary.
